I've been using MovableType for our company blog for the last couple of years. There were a number of reasons why I opted for MT over other solutions, but I'm glad I made the choice.
However, one of the things that has always irritated me was the timestamp on posts.
I don't know about you, but it usually takes me a couple of minutes or even a lot longer from when I start writing until I am ready to actually publish. The default handling of timestamps means that you would have to manually update the timestamp unless it was a scheduled post.
Hot Date does away with this issue and gives you a little button to click on to automagically update the time and date.
Installation only takes a couple of seconds and there are versions for both MT3.* and MT4
